Sheep Yogurt Parfait

Changing your diet due to food allergies doesn't mean saying goodbye to the meals you love—it just means getting creative with your choices. One of the best things about living in today’s world of wellness is that there are more alternatives than ever, and many of them are surprisingly delicious.

Take the classic parfait, for example. Creamy, sweet, and layered with fruit and crunch, it's a staple breakfast or snack for many. But for those avoiding cow’s milk due to allergies or inflammation, it can feel like that treat is off the table.

Sheep milk is a fantastic alternative—naturally rich, slightly sweet, and easier to digest for many people sensitive to cow dairy. It’s also loaded with protein, calcium, and healthy fats. When paired with fresh berries, a drizzle of honey, and your favorite gluten-free granola, you’ve got a parfait that’s not only gentle on your gut, but also satisfying and indulgent.

The truth is, your new food journey doesn’t have to feel restrictive. It’s all about upgrading your ingredients without downgrading your joy.

Heres a simple recipe I use whenever I am craving a yogurt parfait:

1 cup of Sheep Milk or goat milk yogurt

Berries

gluten or grain free granola

a spoonful of raw honey

a scoop of nordic naturals collagen powder

** you can add another scoop of protien powder, but I would make sure the ratio of yogurt to powder is adjusted!
