Testing at The Wellness Way, Mason
We test. We don’t guess. We also don’t test everything.
Below is every lab we run and what each one costs. It is a catalog, not a prescription. The job of your first visit is to work out which one or two of these will tell us the most about you, and to leave the rest alone until there is a reason to run them.
Start with one visit
You don’t need to pick a test before you book.
The first visit is where we work out which one or two labs are worth running, if any. In clinic in Mason or virtual from home.
The $99 covers your health restoration new patient visit: an intake conversation and a review of any prior labs you bring. Labs are separate and you approve each one first. The $99 rate runs through January 31, 2027. Virtual visits are health restoration coaching (labs, diet and lifestyle, supplements); chiropractic care is in clinic only.

What the first visit is actually for
Your first appointment is a triage conversation, not a shopping trip.
People arrive expecting us to order one of everything. We don’t, and not because of cost alone. Running eight panels at once buries the signal. When six things come back mildly abnormal, you have spent a lot of money to arrive at a longer list of maybes.
So the first visit is spent on a different question. Given your history, your symptoms, and whatever testing you have already had, where does the first dollar do the most work? Sometimes that is a $163 basic panel. Sometimes your story points straight at the gut and a stool analysis is worth more than three blood panels. Sometimes you walk out having ordered nothing, because you brought results from six months ago that answer the question already.
Then we follow the thread. Each result narrows what is worth looking at next, so the second round of testing is far better aimed than anything we could have guessed on day one.
- We won’t repeat testing you’ve already had. Bring your prior results and we will read them.
- You see every price before you agree to anything. Nothing gets ordered in the background.
- You can start smaller than we suggest. It is your money and your pace.
Why we work outside insurance, and what that changes for you
A lot of people find us after their labs came back fine and they still don’t feel fine. Here’s what’s different about starting here.
- Insurance covers the basics. It pays for what it considers medically necessary, which usually means a standard panel. That panel does its job, so bring yours and we’ll read it.
- We look at more. Gut, hormones across a full day, food reactions, a fuller thyroid picture. We choose from your story, usually one or two tests to start.
- You’re in charge. We go over every result with you in plain words, and you approve every test and every price before anything is ordered.

Questions people ask first
Do I have to run all of these?
No, and we would talk you out of it. The list above is a catalog, not a plan. Most people start with one or two panels chosen from their history, and we build from what those results show rather than ordering in parallel and hoping something turns up.
How much will I actually spend on labs the first day?
For someone with no recent prior testing, first-day lab spend usually lands between $300 and $700. If you bring recent results with you it is often less, because we will not repeat work that has already been done. You see the cost of every panel before you agree to any of it.
What if I already have labs from somewhere else?
Bring them. The $99 health restoration visit includes reviewing prior results, and it is genuinely useful. Previous work often tells us what not to spend money on, which is the cheapest result you can get.
Is testing covered by insurance?
We are a cash-pay practice and out of network, and labs are not billed to insurance. HSA and FSA cards are accepted for visits, labs, and supplements.
Do I have to be local to Mason?
No. We work with people around the country. Testing is shipped to you and appointments happen from home. The practical difference is that you do not come into the office. If it is easier to ask first, call (283) 223-8376.
What happens after the results come back?
The Plan visit is $300. We go through what the results show, and you leave with a meal plan and a supplement plan built from your own numbers. Supplements are separate and run anywhere from $20 to $130 or more each, which is why we will not quote them before we know what you need.
