About Dr. DeNome

Dr. Ryan DeNome is the clinic owner and chiropractic physician at The Wellness Way - Mason. His path into chiropractic started when his wife introduced him to the profession, and he recognized right away the blend of hands-on problem-solving and patient care that fit how he's wired.

He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. During his first week there he found The Wellness Way Student Club, and spent nearly four years immersed in The Wellness Way philosophy: the idea that the body has an innate ability to heal when you find and address what's actually loading stress onto it, rather than chasing symptoms one at a time.

Today he works with patients across Mason, West Chester, Loveland, Lebanon, and the greater Cincinnati area. He's especially drawn to two groups: men who feel boxed in by a health challenge no one has gotten to the bottom of, and moms carrying the weight of a household while their own health gets pushed to the back of the line. He's certified in the Webster Technique for prenatal care, sees pediatric patients from infancy through the teen years, and works with everyday athletes, blue-collar workers, and anyone who wants their body to keep up with their life.

Why Functional Testing + Chiropractic

Most chiropractors adjust. Most functional-medicine providers run labs. Dr. DeNome built his practice around doing both, because the two answer different halves of the same question. Chiropractic care supports the nervous system that regulates digestion, immune response, and hormone signaling. Functional lab panels (DUTCH for hormones, a complete thyroid panel, gut testing) show what those systems are actually doing. One without the other is half a picture.

None of this replaces conventional medicine. Dr. DeNome works alongside your primary care provider, your OB, and any specialists on your team. The aim is to add the layer standard care usually skips: the deeper testing, and the conversation about why your body is doing what it's doing.

In Dr. Ryan's Words

"I got into this because I watched people get told their labs were 'normal' while they clearly weren't okay. The body never does anything without a reason. My job is to find the reason, to test instead of guess, and to walk alongside people who'd mostly given up on getting a real answer. That's the whole practice."

Outside the clinic, Dr. Ryan is happiest outdoors with his wife and son: hiking, kayaking, or just being in it. He and his wife once biked 100 miles on their second date, which tells you most of what you need to know about how he approaches a challenge.

Conditions Dr. DeNome Works With Most
